Holy Scripture

“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Lutherans believe and confess that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is the source and norm of our faith and consists of both the Old and New Testaments. The Bible reveals to us who God is, who we are as humanity, what our relationship is to God, and how God calls us to live together in relationship with God and one another.
